Don't be a sloucher

Here is a perfect example of what happens to your spine when you slouch. You may not even realize it, but when sitting you should always have good lumbar support. A good way to make sure you’re maintaining the curve, is to roll up a towel and place it behind you when sitting. This will prevent the achyness associated with slouching.

Fun Fact Friday!

This chart shows how a pinched nerve, or subluxation, in one area can cause symptoms in a different area. Theses nerve areas are known as dermatomes. This can help locate which vertebra is subluxated.

 Example:
If you are having shoulder or back pain, this is most often associated with a subluxation in the C6-C7 area. So you think your shoulder hurts, but it may just be a subluxation in your neck!
